Priest-in-Charge Father David Morris
Father David Morris was born in 1986 in Cymmer, Rhondda Valley. He studied for a Bachelors Degree in Theology at the University of Wales, Bangor and then for a Masters Degree in Theology at Cardiff University alongside training for the priesthood at St Michael’s College, Llandaff.
He was made deacon at Petertide 2009 and ordained to the priesthood at Petertide 2010, both at Llandaff Cathedral.
Father David served his curacy in the Parish of Merthyr Tydfil,
St. David and Abercanaid before being licensed as Associate Priest in the Parishes of Grangetown, St Paul and Cardiff,
St Mary and St Stephen with St Dyfrig and St Samson in September 2012.
Fr David was licensed as Priest-in-Charge of the Parishes of Grangetown, St Paul with St Dyfrig and St Samson in May 2016.
Father David’s interests include theatre, reading, cooking and travelling. He also has a cat called Gordon.
